Dr. Phillips, I just wanted to write to say how much your life’s work has meant to me. Whenever I preach on any subject or book, I always check to see if you have written on that subject. You are a huge blessing to me.

I just finished reading the Epistle of Peter…as usual, I laid the book down with a refreshing sigh and wiped the tears from my eyes…I’m thankful that God gave Dr. Phillips the extraordinary ability to “see” and understand the Word as he studied it, and the ability to express what he saw in so eloquent a way…and for the Holy Spirit who gives me light to be able to take in, relish and apply those wonderful truths.

I have been reading “The View From Mt. Calvary” and I cannot begin to describe how it is impacting my life…I do not believe any other [book] has had such a profound effect on my life…I will read and reread it until our Lord comes. It is as if Dr. Phillips had the power to transport the reader to the very foot of Jesus’ cross to breathe and intensely experience what our Lord was doing for each and every one of us who is willing to feel it deep within our souls.
